ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management (7 Days)

Develop managers to take their leadership to the next level, maximise all available resources to achieve goals, ignite change and achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

Target Audience

A stand alone qualification for practicing managers who work, or who aspire to work at middle management level. Typically such a work role would involve responsibility for a department or unit and the associated planning, decision making, controlling, monitoring and people management.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the programme learners will:

• Have understood the specific responsibilities of middle managers enabling the organisation to meet its goals
• Have understood how interpersonal relationships, leadership styles and communications skills affect managerial performance
• Have developed plans to improve their leadership skills, emotional intelligence and ability to influence, motivate, delegate & empower others
• Have applied change theories in practice to lead an innovation in their own organisation
• Know how to research and evaluate information and prepare a proposal for a business improvement
• Know how to plan and deliver professional presentations
• Implement an innovation within the workplace and manage the change transition

Assessment & Support

Full support will be provided throughout the programme by a business coach to support learners complete the 2 out of course work based assignments to achieve the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management.
