Target Audience
For anyone who would like to learn how to design and deliver effective training sessions. This will be particularly useful for new trainers or anyone who finds that part of their role is to develop others.
Aim of Programme
This three day programme gives people the opportunity to explore and develop the skills required to deliver effective training sessions.
The emphasis is on helping learners to learn through a range of activities in a relaxed and enjoyable way. On successful completion delegates will receive the ILM Train the Trainer Endorsed Award.
Key Content
At the end of the programme learners will:
- Understand how people learn
- Know how to identify training and development needs and plan appropriate training events
- Know how to create a conducive learning environment to retain attention levels
- Know how to design relevant training events to meet learners needs using a variety of methods
- Know how to present effectively to groups
- Know how to provide constructive feedback to individuals and groups
- Know how to manage a variety of difficult situations that may occur during training and coaching delivery
- Know how to evaluate training and development events
