Objectives:

By the end of the workshop delegates will:

  • Recognise behavioural types through tone of voice, pace of speech, words and body language

  • Have developed a self awareness of their own style when communicating with others

  • Have learned how to adapt and modify their own behaviour to enhance communications, understanding and relationships with others

  • Understand the roles, functions and skills required of a chairperson, facilitator, recorder and participant in meetings

  • Know how to prepare effectively for formal meetings

  • Have learned how to use a variety of techniques to control behaviours during meetings

  • Understand how to present and feedback information effectively at meetings

  • Know how to follow up effectively after meetings
