Target Audience
A stand alone qualification for practicing managers who work, or who aspire to work at middle management level. Typically such a work role would involve responsibility for a department or unit and the associated planning, decision making, controlling, monitoring and people management.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the programme learners will:
- Have understood the specific responsibilities of middle managers enabling the organisation to meet its goals
- Have understood how interpersonal relationships, leadership styles and communications skills affect managerial performance
- Have developed plans to improve their leadership skills, emotional intelligence and ability to influence, motivate, delegate & empower others
- Have applied change theories in practice to lead an innovation in their own organisation
- Know how to research and evaluate information and write a proposal for a business improvement
- Know how to plan and deliver professional presentations
- Plan an innovation opportunity within the workplace and manage the change transition
